Learning Journey 5 - Food Playground: Cooking with Stay-at-Home Mothers & Active Seniors

Description
Learning Journeys are designed to help participants of LeapForGood 2018 to discover and get closer to the emerging social needs of seniors and caregivers through the sharing of insights and participation in interactive activities, with organisations active in the space.

Food Playground

Food Playground is a hands-on cooking school offering cultural cooking classes and corporate team building workshops since 2012. They operate out of a pre-war heritage shophouse in the heart of Singapore's Chinatown, and have a unique social mission of providing flexi-work employment opportunities for stay-at-home mothers and active seniors who have limited avenues to return to the workforce.

In this Learning Journey, you will be able to learn how Food Playground empowers household superstars to pass down their heritage cooking skills.
